Whenever you start to talk to God, begin by telling Him who He is. This is not because God has forgotten who He is, rather it is our acknowledgment that we know and understand who He is.

II. God is Other
In heaven… reminds us that God is sovereign. He is above the Earth, He is in Heaven. Therefore He is Lord of the Earth. He is over all, He sees all, and He is Lord of all so we can relax.
Colossians 1:15-18 NKJV
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Jeremiah 32:17 NLT
17 “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!
III. God is Holy
Leviticus 22:31-33 NKJV
31 “Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord. 32 You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the Lord who sanctifies you, 33 who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord.”

13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
