Part Two: A Matter of Integrity
Psalms 15: 1-5 NLT 1 Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?
2 Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
3 Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
4 Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts.
5 Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent.Such people will stand firm forever..
What integrity’s not—Perfection. Never mistake. No one integrity.

Deuteronomy 6:5 NLT 5 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.

1 Peter 3:13-17 NLT 13 Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14 But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. 15 Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. 16 But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. 17 Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong! Integrity is who you are when no one is looking…. Its different than reputation…
Matthew 23:25-26 NLT 25 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy—full of greed and self-indulgence! 26 You blind Pharisee! First wash the inside of the cup and the dish, and then the outside will become clean, too.
Psalms 139:23-24 NLT 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
Talent can get you to the top but only integrity will keep you at the top.
Im going to do what’s right and trust God with the results.
Your integrity is easier to keep than it is to recover.
